Cam and groove fitting are hose couplings that connect or disconnect pipe, tubing, or hose without tools. Cam and groove fittings, also known as camlock couplings, consist of a grooved male adapter and a female cam with handles or arms. The cam and groove gasket fits inside the grooves of the couplings and together they form a leakproof seal. Camlock fittings and gaskets are used with liquids, powders, or gases in food processing, agriculture, chemical, and manufacturing applications.
