Betts flat seat style emergency valves combine Betts quality with an economical design, featuring aluminum construction and a specially designed seat disc for positive sealing. The shear section is tested per TTMA RP84 and meets 49CFR178.345-8. This cable-operated version is actuated via a mechanical lever arm rather than an air cylinder.
